James Akrigg to present on Microsoft Hololens at #ioTDinner May 2016
I am delighted to announce that Microsoft’s Head of Technology for Partners, James Akrigg will be joining the #IoTDinner in London on May 24th to talk about Microsoft Hololens as well as other other Microsoft products including their OCR tools.
Microsoft Hololens
As many of us are already aware Microsoft has begun shipping it’s Hololens in the U.S. which means that we can expect delivery to the U.K. at some point later in 2016. Microsoft Hololens is the first fully untethered holographic computer, enabling you to interact with high-definition holograms in your world.
James Akrigg – Head of Technology for Partners, Microsoft
James has worked in and around the IT industry for over 29 years, which includes the last 15 years at Microsoft in the UK. His passion for technology and what it can do to deliver real value and benefit to businesses of all sizes and to individuals is clear to see when he presents. James is able to simplify how to use a mix of technologies to deliver solutions in today’s challenging business environments.
“James is one of the best people I have worked with in over 20 years in IT. He’s hard to pigeon hole as a technologist as he’s a source of creative ideas, inspires others, is one of the best presenters I’ve ever seen and has a natural knack of building relationships with all levels of people who he engages with. He combines all of that with a brilliant understanding not only of the nuts and bolts (and acronyms) of technology but an ability to talk about it in language anyone can understand.
Put simply, if I were to start my own company tomorrow and had to pick 3 people to work with, James would unquestionably be on that list”, Steve Clayton – Storytelling at Microsoft
As always, after a Prosecco Reception from 7pm we will listen to our guest speaker over a delicious three-course meal at a Central London venue with full audio/video facilities available in the company of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs from all around the U.K. As at the Warsaw #DigiDinner this month, we will stream the event on Skype.
Tickets to the event will be released at the beginning of May to members of Digital Entrepreneur and made available to the wider public from the 9th May.
If you would would like to demonstrate associated technology please get in touch with us via our contact form here or on Twitter @digentre.
